RIGMAROLE STOOL
2017
These stools were developed in response to a client brief for a locally produced, well-made object with a compact footprint—an alternative to the oversized or imported options typically available. Conceived for hospitality environments, they are designed to withstand constant and often unforgiving use. Many have remained in continuous service for over a decade, demonstrating their durability.
The same clarity of form and precision of finish allows the stools to sit comfortably within domestic settings, particularly at a kitchen bench. The project balances variation with restraint, offering a range of options within a deliberately limited palette of materials and finishes, all sourced through local manufacturing.
The frame is formed from CNC-bent wire, paired with either perforated spun steel or hand-turned hardwood tops. Finishes are applied consistently across both elements. Frame options include silver zinc, gold zinc, black zinc, olive drab, and electropolished stainless steel. Tops are available in hand-spun or 3D laser-cut metal to match, or in hand-turned timber across a range of species.
The range is offered in three standard heights:
R6 — 450 mm, for tables @ 730 mm
R7 — 650 mm, for benches @ 900 mm
R8 — 750 mm, for bar @ 1050 mm and above
The stools can be specified for both hospitality and residential applications. Pricing varies depending on quantity, finish, and timber selection.
Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks. Please contact us to confirm current availability.
