PICCOLINA KIOSK
2022
‘the kiosk is defined by its rigorous use of polished stainless steel tubing—a deliberate nod to the functional soul of the craft and the stainless steel cooling coils of the pozzetti’
The Piccolina Chadstone Kiosk reimagines the traditional gelateria as a singular, sculptural object. Designed as an isolated pavilion within the Social Quarter, the kiosk is defined by its rigorous use of polished stainless steel tubing—a deliberate nod to the functional soul of the craft and the stainless steel cooling coils of the pozzetti. By reducing the architecture to a series of lustrous, repeating lines, the kiosk sits less like a permanent building and more like a refined piece of urban furniture.
Central to the project is the collaboration between March Studio and Projects of Imagination, which seamlessly integrates the brand's identity into the physical structure.
This partnership is most evident in the playful and colorful menu board, which was designed to complement the stainless steel geometry. It guides visitors through the rotating flavors with the same precision and intent as the architecture itself.
Together, these elements invite passersby to engage with Piccolina not just as a shop, but as a thoughtfully curated moment within the quarter. Here, the assemblage of industrial materials and vibrant graphic design creates an immersive experience of Italian tradition.
