PEOPLE
March Studio is supported by a wide-reaching network of makers, artisans and collaborators.
Our team is led by Rodney Eggleston, who co-founded the practice with Anne-Laure Cavigneaux in 2007. Over time, more than 50 people have contributed to the practice, each bringing distinct insight and project understanding. Many have gone on to establish their own studios.
Today, March Studio continues under Rodney’s direction, with Matt Stanley and Julian Canterbury as Associates, Karen McWilliam as part-time Office Manager, and Zephyr Cravino and Olivia Li as Graduate Architects.
The studio maintains a close relationship with the RMIT School of Architecture, with team members regularly contributing as sessional staff. These design studios, run from March Studio in North Melbourne, offer an opportunity to engage with the next generation, share knowledge of constructability, and bring real world experience into the academic environment.

July 2025 – PRESS STATEMENT
March Studio Announces Evolution of Practice
Founded in 2007 by architect Rodney Eggleston and designer Anne-Laure Cavigneaux, March Studio has built an international reputation for work defined by tactile materiality, inventive spatial thinking, and a seamless integration of architecture, interiors, and identity. The studio’s projects, spanning residential, institutional, and immersive retail environments, are grounded in collaboration, craft, and a quietly radical approach to design.
For nearly two decades, March Studio has embraced a cross-disciplinary model that brought architecture, brand, communication, and wayfinding into a single creative ecosystem. This unique structure has shaped the studio’s voice and underpinned its distinct presence on the global stage.
As of July 2025, March Studio is evolving this model with the launch of CAVIGNEAUX, a new independent practice led by co-founder Anne-Laure Cavigneaux. CAVIGNEAUX will focus on identity, wayfinding, communication, and design; disciplines that have long been integral to March Studio’s multidisciplinary approach.
March Studio will continue its architecture and interior design work under the leadership of co-founder Rodney Eggleston. Together, the two studios will maintain a close creative partnership, collaborating on projects that benefit from their shared history, complementary expertise, and commitment to innovative design.
This evolution marks a new chapter for both practices, strengthening their ability to deliver distinctive, integrated work across disciplines and globally, while allowing March Studio to focus on industrial design and architecture.
